You have less than 100 posts. Your comments mean nothing to me. golurkmoar.
You have less than 6,000 posts. Your comments mean nothing to me.
Har har har. Post count means jack shit.
You troll.

That said, posts give a general estimate of your efficient posts over the course of time, or the amount of spam you contribute.
Razer has over 8500 posts, but I notice he also has many guides and contributes to serious conversations most of the time.
I have less than 1300 posts (at the time this is posted), but thats over the course of 5+ years, with alot of posts made in Sage and Scholar and alot of questions asked involving game mechanics of other classes and mercenary ai, item info, reporting various issues, and replying to questions and concerns in an attempt to help (also just to point out stupidity and trivialty)other players.
So said, I can't find the comments of a person with less than 100 posts (and centering everything..) to be more than troll talk, because it shows that they have not posted in many "serious" animusRO, possibly ending up with 20 posts in one thread alone saying very frivilous things, like

With over 100 posts, i can attempt to assume that the person has been in several threads of "serious" conversation. This here is a "serious" conversation about a person with a banned or restricted account and how its been difficult for the GM's to work through this with her due to language barriers. While I've posted some "lul" comments in here, i've also posted "serious" posts in an attempt to help resolve the issue and the situation.
Also, being able to view a persons profile to see when they joined helps to see if people are just +1'ing. If someone has 50 posts in one day, I may or may not have a bit of a frowny face.
You do have over 6000 posts Digi, but I don't really know of alot of "serious" conversation you've contributed to "seriously."
