brand new wanting to play

heya i am Lluvia...or so i am trying to create, i tried creating an account but every time i attempt to make a name i get a message that says the name is already taken or contains illegal characters...does anyone know why everything i type in is taken? i have spammed the keyboard with any and all keys even the gibberish is taken...i'd love to play but am kinda stuck, any help would be awesome thanks!

I believe only 5? of the 9 slots work.

you need to go to a different character slot the first 5 work only, and there's 9 in total. So try different slots

awesome, thank you so much...such a fast community response too i am excited to try the game out, i put my character name in and the game did not pop up the previous message now it just says please wait..hope it doesn't take too long ^^;;

ugh i hate being a noob, the start of a new game is so fun but difficult at the same time, how do i PM? and unfortunately for me the game still says please wait i wonder if it's suppose to take this long?

Have you patched your sakray?

It`s in your rp folder.

The PM icon is right under my avatar.

To pm ingame, there`s a space beside the chat bar where you type in the name of the one your trying to contact. It has to be exact spelling though, with the proper punctuation. If they aren`t online it`ll tell you.

PM on the forums always work though

You can PM me too if you like, if moon tear isn't there
To patch your Sakray and your anthempatch go to your computer, program files, gravity, RO then search for sakray.exe or alternativesakray.exe (either should work, if one doesn't, try the other), and your anthempatch.exe
if you're using vista you might need to right click + "Run as administrator"
that's all I can think of, you really shouldn't have to wait that long @_@ it's about a two/three second loading screen, shouldn't be longer than that.

yeah your most likely on a slot that isnt currently open we have 5 open spots.just pick one name and when one slot fails try the next then the next
