I server hop a lot and today I decided I would like to play a low rate server. I'm here playing alone, sadly. So I would like to make some friends and meet the friendly side of the community here, cause' no one wants to play RO by themselves. At least I don't. I just tried leveling today and I don't remember this game being this hard to level. Haha! Guess I'll be sitting in town as a novice for a while until I get the motivation.

If you haven't played low rate in a while, it may seem relatively hard to level. Our current rates are 10x since double exp is still in effect.

Do you have all the 1z gear from the Novice Shop NPC? Did you try Payon Dungeon and talk to some of the NPCs outside of it for some quests?

It's best to stay Novice until at least base lvl 30 (40 can be better, depending on how hard it is to level your chosen 1st job). Then you won't notice such a big difference in your stats without the novice gear. Most gear you can afford for a 1st job character (when you're first starting out) doesn't have buffs as good as the novice gear.

And once you get lvl 30 or so, be sure to do the job quest for your 1st job. You get a Beginner's weapon that is pretty useful.
