Alright, so I'm making my first Assassin class character.

I was told to go Specialty Jur[4] with Doppel Mobster Mobster Alligator or DDMM.

I personally won't have the Vit for the External bleeding this weapon causes. That and I won't really need an aligator that bad because of my current equips and setup. I have plenty of Crit as it is.

I was curious about a Jur[3] DDM. It has a much higher base attack than the spec jur, and it doesn't harm myself while using it.

Would this be a reasonable alt for the Spec Jur[4]? If not, can anyone explain why, and what would be a reasonable replacement?

DDEE. 2x dopp and double eremes guile (non-MVP). It's a better version of mobster for demi humans.

Their damage is comparable. Most people that go Spec Jur, go vit build. I asked a friend, and they said they haven't seen it proc very often but if that's not the case, they would go with Jur [3]. They also said a Spec Jur has more resale value than a normal Jur. Some good weapons to use are +10 DDPT (2x Doppel, Phreeoni, Turtle General) Main Gauche and +10 DDP Gladius (Both daggers, and are easier to sell when you plan to sell these). For basic, use a DD dagger to start, and then rest as you progress. And in terms of leveling, you'll need to pick leveling spots and get suitable racial/elemental/size weapons to be effective in them.

Edit: Note this. Eremes Guile doesn't work with daggers. Double attacks bypass crit so you won't crit enough with daggers. On Jur, yes. Katars double crit rate, so you would be able to crit enough with katars.

Anyways, going back on topic, my friend suggested maybe trying DDME Jur (2x Doppel, Mobster, Eremes Guile).

Im not sure about that though. Because Eremes is primarily good against Demi human. If he is focussed only on woe/pvp then what Nate suggested works too. If he wants to use it for leveling then he may need another option.

If I remember right the custom eremes here gives +15 crit to demi, 15% more crit damage and 15% more damage to demihumans. The critical and racial damage will multiply so it is the best choice. Rena your friend may not know of the custom addition to our eremes. That's why I made that bow. Gonna have to double check once I get in. As for PvM mobsters works well with the weapon I picked out.

The script of Eremes Guile Card currently say Critical +15 to Demi Human and increase critical damage by 15%.

I suppose but for myself it's not worth spending an extra 7 ads. My crit is perfect with the gear I have. Might as well go for a mobster.
