I still think it would help the server a lot if they made changes to help low tier players grind for gear faster but not effect how fast high tier players get gear but unfortunately that isn't a priority right now.

(Abekki went to PvP and get harassed. Abekki went for Poring Wars but no one was there. Abekki accidentally talked to Maroll Officer and got lost.)

Its.... a double eged sword.... I've found a bunch of new players BECAUSE of mainchat. And its seriously nice to see someone in mainchat be like 'Hi i'm new' an have 8+ people welcome them to the server... plus not to mention its amazing when used correctly... Like promoting events, asking questions and stuff. Theres been many times someone asks a question, lets say about WS weapons and ranking. A BUNCH of people jumped into the convo adding to the first question ending in a whole discussion that explained a lot of things to a lot of people. I dont think we need to get rid of mainchat >.> (srsly i love the thing) I just think it needs.... more clear set rules I guess... and you know, for people to actually READ.

There HAVE been some people that we're like 'oh you cant do that in mainchat its against the rules' and they ask where the rules are so they can go read them. Then again theres the times we say that and they're like 'oh' and thats all we get...

I'm a bit late to this discussion but I have to second what slurpy has to say here.  I was involved before my trip in a conversation about which card was better on Suiken, and even that convo managed to bring in a lot of newbies who started asking questions about champ in general, which led to a comparison between combo and IC champ, which led to... etc.  It was certainly awesome to behold.  I also witnessed main chat being used by a sader who was looking for a party in prison at the same time a priest was, and they hooked up and demolished prison together for a while.  Main chat is awesome and when it's not being used to QQ or yell at newbies it is a major plus to our server.

@Mary, Scenes 1,2 and 4 have happened to me on alts, i even asked when a pr was around and they was just singing to themselves in mainchat which was kind of stupid, if i was really new to the server i would have been irritated at this fact that no one even bothered to reply and was ignored ( i did ask like 4 times)
