ads sell 800k~900k on the street.
vend for anything less than 24.3 mil and you're not making a profit at all.
25 mil sounds pretty decent price at the current rates.
700k profit isn't that much considering you have to pay real money to get it in the first place

Prices were low because ad fraud was high back then. Which meant lots of ads to go around and more of a supply meant less of a demand which results in lower prices. Ever since the GMs back on anima cracked down on ad fraud prices went up.

prices are always changing, for better or for worse. People tend to be more eager to raise prices then they are to lower them.

I leveled my aco in prison to job level 50. Killing over 400 zombie prisoners for sure. I never got a card from them. Until I decided to try it on my rogue and one dropped, and 5 minutes later an injustice card dropped. It's just about sheer luck.

Its all luck.  I have grouped with people who have gotten Osiris and Baph cards dropped , so dont say that "real money" is the way to get it in the first place, well unless you like wasting your money.

using "real money" isn't the ONLY way, but it is definitely the EASIEST and FASTEST way. It is however how most of these cards appear in-game.
If we didn't have donations. Those cards could sell for WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more.

You get Exp, A Chance at one of the most sought after cards, and quite a few other noteworthy Drops.
Whats not to want, right?

Of course Going and donating would be easier, however for alot of players that is also an impossibility.
So Thus they're confinded to MvP'ing, and hoping for the best - Or Farming other items to get the Zeny.

Also - Dopple is fairly easy to kill, as long as you maintain distance, or have extremely high VIT.
With a good priest, You can MvP it quite easily.

Priests can solo him yeah. You will need good gears though (for all jobs wanting to kill him) so it's not for everyone.
