VISA debit card for donation

has anyone tried donating through VISA debit card?
is it safe to donate?
does it have to go through paypal?
on the donation page it says we can donate and they will give us credit but they are not obilgated to do so
does that mean we randomly get credit if they want to give them?

You may donate with a Visa Debit Card (I think it's more commonly called a Bank Card); but more than likely it'll process as a Credit and the money will still be taken out of your account. 

When you donate, you will obtain the equivalent in Ads, 100% guaranteed.  It's not a "we don't like you, screw you!  No Ads for you!" 

Also, all donations (credit card) are done via PayPal, if you don't have an account, it's really easy to set one up - just fill out the form you see in the PayPal website (after clicking the Donate button on the Animus website), and everything should and will run smoothly.  Should you encounter any problems such as the Ad Credits not appearing on your account, submit a support ticket with the PayPal confirmation number (usually received via E-Mail, remember: use a VALID E-Mail with PayPal) and we'll get everything sorted out.

And don't worry, PayPal is 100% secure - we will not steal your information or money, I promise.
