Some questions about WoE

1. Why is /nc disabled in WoE?
2. Why is backsliding disabled in WoE?
3. Why are the damage numbers hidden?

1. Because then you have to keep your focus on that one target by holding the mouse. You can't be a lazy bitch and just click once.

2. Because it would be broken. Backsliding all the way to Emp, anyone? I thought this would be obvious to everyone.

3. I think it's because then you can't know which targets are weaker or wearing the wrong armor, so you don't know who to focus on.

1: i like pepe's reason. but i also think that not being able to lock just on one person is great for offensive reasons, i mean a guild defending always aims to get the guild leader first. and guild leaders try to hide with the crowd. defensive wise it would be overpowered.

2: because the other ones are stopable. even a shamp has to use the skill and aim. pecos is just to walk a bit faster a trap can stop them and emergency avoid can also be stoped by a trap. but backslading you canjust spam away and not be stoped, you don't have to aim or anything.

3: i am going for: can you imagine how many numbers would be plying around in WoE?!?! Guild vs guild is just crazy! the skill spaming names and even SGs. nobody would be able to see S!@# during WoE.  even now it's hard to WoE with all those skills going and sometimes playing with effects off is just not helpful.
              Edit: i think is just beneficial for everybody and just to make it easier on you. it's just to help i would think that just to not let you see the damage you do to a single person

Cart Boost makes you walk faster too, but it's needed for Cart Termination.

Body relocation is better then back sliding but that's allowed either because gravity is biased toward champs or the combination of cloaking and back sliding would be to much.  Though a champ could always get the card to get cloaking level 1 or 3.

There was a discussion considering the removal of BR in war. Gravity was either stupid or biased since BR greatly favored the Champ class in war. You can easily reloc over traps ruining them and get out of Web as well. Not to mention some people delibrately use position glitch to leave mirror copies of themselves. I think there are some servers which disabled BR inside castles. Not sure though on how easy/hard it is to code. I dont know if SNs can still equip Vesper optics but I remem Sns were even more threatful then champs since they had many SQIs at their disposal back in old software.
