I have gotten 3 Poison Spore cards 

Who the hell cares about Poison Spore cards  More so, since other people love that level of the geffen dungeon, every time they don't end up with a card is just more of a chance that you'll end up with a card. They kill 2000 and get no card and leave. You come by and kill 3 and get 1+. Active areas drop cards actively. Thats how we end up with alot of Skellington card drops. I killed 1000+ Medusa's in one day but I never got a card.

No such thing.
You can kill >9000 same mobs continuously without any card or you can get >9000 cards from every mob that you killed.
Every kill give you 0.03% chance to drop and it all depends on your sheer luck.

it's luck based, if everything was "kill 3333 and get a 0.03% drop" then there would be no luck drops like mvp cards
each monster have a 0.03% chance of dropping a rare item

You're speaking of it like killing 3333 grants a 100% drop. I'm merely speaking of the odds of getting a drop. Point being that the more you kill something, the odds are that you'll get something for it. While the technical odds don't change, it'll still be a .03% chance of the item, the literal odds, talking about probability and percentages, is that the more you kill, the more likely you get what you are searching for. Of course there are lucky people, like the ones with Hell Poodle cards.
