Tae kwon mission to soul linker

If I were to do tae kwon mission for a little while would I still be able to job change into a soul linker or would that be closed off to me? I don't remember anyone that has an SL that I know having done that, so I'm unsure and don't want to mess up my character with it.

It's only available for TKs.
You can't use it once you switch to SL or SG.

Yeah, I know, but would it keep locked in as a TK? Or does that not matter?

you can change class anytime no matter how many ranking points you have

just that if you get to ranker taek... youll lose the buffs you get from it when changing class too if you were planning that
