Hi, and welcome to Animus! As for tips...if you haven't played Ragnarok Online before, I'd say go through the tutorial, since you get some novice starter equipment that will be useful for the early levels, as well as a bunch of healing potions. I usually stay as a novice until base level 25-30, since the starter equipment is really nice. It also makes leveling your first job easier if you have some levels on your character.
Other than that, the first area that a lot of people go to level in when they switch to their first job is Payon Dungeon, which you can access through the Warp Girl. Also, spend some time thinking about what job you'd like to be, since you'll be playing characters for a while, and it makes the game more enjoyable if you're using a class you really like ;3
