RO on Vista

so i downloaded the game for my sister on her vista computer and when i bring up the patcher it says unable to connect to ftp server >: how does i fix that?

Have you made sure the patcher as an exception in the windows firewall or whatever firewall she may be using?

Hopefully that'll do it, I just installed new antivirus/malware software on my laptop and the firewall wouldn't let my patcher run either

r u using sakray patch or anthemro patch... The sakray patch no longer works anymore since kro is no longer using sakray as the server. They changed server a while ago...

probably a connection problem on your side
or disable firewall...

i think the fire wall was disabled an still didnt work >: though wat kind of connection problem u mean

probably...
click right patcher -> run as adminstrator,
click right properties on ro folder -> set security to do full control,
or go to Control Panel -> User Accounts and Family Safety -> User Accounts -> turn User Account Control off

any of those, I hate vista because of this.
