Help/guide for new player

Hi I'm just starting this game and I'm trying to make a character
but evertime I get disconnected from the server:
After I have set up the character and click okay. message says please wait.. then pops up "disconnected from server"
could someone help please

If it's happening constantly even after waiting a while, I'd reccommend you install this MiniSetup:

But now I don't know what to do in the game.
Could someone please guide me a little to where I should go or do to start.
I don't know how to play RO and I'm really lost.

Well, here's the official FAQ guide from iRO:

But when you make your character, sell your Knife and Cotton Shirt, and look 5 tiles northwest from your starting point, and sell them to the Novice Shop. Once you have money, buy each of the 1z equipments from the same shop. Then kill things.

I read the guide from RagOnline but didn't really get a clue on where to go.
Does the game save automatically or do I need to save? Like do I need to go save after I buy/sell things?
And how can I heal my HP.. it's pretty low right now.

No, it's always autosaved. Th eonly thing you have to save is your respawn point, which you can do at any Kafra NPC. They look like maids, in brown. Usually near Doctors/Warp Girls.

By the way, if you see a monster tha tlooks like a butterfly, named Creamy, stay away from it, if you act aggressively towards it, it;ll kill you easy.

I was told that too, when I started. I hit it anyway.

Sure learnt my lesson.

P.S We need a beginners guide to aRO, I mean, every server is different.

I think the pictures posted in the thread make it harder to read... I think urls would be better IMO...
