Mage > Wizard > High Wizard Fun Job?

Just was wondering, I started as an assassin, and have a ninja and lvling a priest at the moment but I figured I'd try a wizard, so I just wondered if they were a fun job and if it's able to  be meleed or if it's all set up for magic only? Just figured I'd see some other people's input and figure out if I should pick a different job then this maybe.

well, the hp modifier for a mage is rather low, even with the add ons like DL sleips even.  It is possible to make it melee, certainly, but it wouldn't be anything special.  Mage/Wiz/HW is definitely a "make me do magic!" type class.

Are they fun solo jobs or are they like, always have to be with someone else jobs?

Wiz has to many nerfs and draw backs unless your doing PvM only and have a lot of money to burn trying for IC I wouldn't bother unless you like always partying with a priest.

Then what would probably be a good job? cause my friends that I hang with all the time is going to be an assassin and a dancer

Assassin tank for a Wizard could work I guess. Priest for support, or you could go knight or crusader and mix up support with offence

If your looking for magic with melee then an auto casting Sage is your best bet.
