EDIT: This was meant to help players on a general field. A more in depth guide can be located here by razerman:
http://www.anthemro.com/forums/index.php/topic,6010.0.htmlI'm writing this reference for some new players who are finding it a little hard to keep up with the economy, especially with all the older players who already have decent equipment and all the people who donate to gain an upper advantage. I'd like to mention that this is a reference, and is not a 100% sure fire way to make lots of money. Many money making techniques can be found by simply using the search button and I urge you to refrain from getting frustrated if one particular method is not working for you.
1. Donating with Real Money -For some people, this method is unavailable. For all of those people who refuse to donate, this is a legitimate way of making money and is a good way to help the server out. Now I understand many people simply can't/don't donate and that's acceptable as well.
2. Make a merchant -This is probably the key to money making. Merchants are designed to make money. Many of their skills contribute to your wealth:
Discount and Overcharge-These two skills are the bread and butter of your money making. Max out both these skills. Discount will allow you to buy merchandise from NPC dealers at discounted prices in which you can sell to other players for higher prices. Overcharge allows you to sell items with raised prices back to the NPC shops. All of your loots should be overcharged to the NPC, it really helps in the long runVending-Ever notice those nice lines of open boxes with the money bags in Prontera? Double click them and find a selection of goods you could never afford? That's due to the vending skill. You can sell your equipment, as well as other merchandise to other players this way. A key part in making money, it would be advisable to take advantage of this.3. Secondary advancement for the merchant-Once you've become throughly familiar with your merchant, you must be wondering: "What profits could be made by simply job changing into the secondary of the merchant?" Well, you now have two choices: Blacksmith and Alchemist.
Blacksmith- Designed to forge weapons and upgrade them, the blacksmith is very well designed in making money.i.Forging Weapons
-This is a very good start for newer players. The weapon market is always growing, with forged weapons always in demand. Simply farm ingredients as you level along and vend them. Take notice of what item is in demand and find the best way to manipulate it. Here is a link with the full list of the forging ingredients.

-Yes, probably the most famous method of making money, this is not reccomended for newcomers. (More on this Later)
Alchemist- Designed in the art of creating potions, the alchemist is very useful when it comes to making money.
i.Potion Making
-Ah yes, the market of potion making. You'll notice that potion making may seem weak in comparison to the blacksmith, but may actually benefit in the longer run. You see, while weapons receive high profit, the market does not need repeats of the same item. One person that has already bought a dagger for example, will not buy another. Potions on the otherhand, are always in frequent demand. Simply mix potions using the pharmacy skills as you progress through the game and vend them, gaining a steady profit. Here is a link to the potion ingredients:

4. Other Methods of Making Money-In case you still want to make money, but simply don't have the patience in creating a new character, there are options for you.
i. Toy Factory Level 2
-Yes, one of the most popular methods of income. I myself made money using this method when I started out, to great results. You simply farm Myst Cases here, collecting the Pieces of Cake, Well Baked Cookies, Old Blue Boxes, and all the misc items dropped. Cake and Cookies are used extremely frequently in PvP and WoE and people will often go to great prices to attain these items. Simply sell them at WoE times, or vend while you're sleeping and you'll be on your way.
ii. Amatsu Dungeon [Miyabi Dolls]
-This method may be more profitable than TF Lvl 2, but is usually only reccomended for assassins and rogues, who take advantage of the skill 'steal' and 'gank' (for the rogue). Miyabi Dolls drop Star Crumbs, which sell for high profit either to the NPC or other players.
iii. Collecting herbs
-You see many people asking for a warp to "niff3" or "yggtree" to priests, in which a warp will be opened to a mysterious green environment. This is called the Yggdrasil Tree map. Many plants grow here, including the precious blue, white and shining plants. Simply asking for a warp and killing these plants will drop blue and white herbs, as well as emperiums from shining plants at a small chance. These can be sold for high profit, as they are prereqs for potion making for alchemists.
Thanks for taking the time to read this guide/reference. Contributions would be most appreciated. All of these methods were NOT discovered by me. I am simply repeating what can be found by using the search button and I have gotten many of these ideas from friends and notable mentions, such as razerman. I took the time to typing out this guide to help out new players, and anyone who accuses me of copying others IS technically correct, but will find that I am less pleasant than I seem. Thank you again and have a nice day =)
P.S. I know my grammar is horrible. I urge you to correct me in any way possible. This was typed pretty late at night and I'm exhausted.
[More will be added later, please feel free to post suggestions that can be added to this guide]
