SG + HW card vs Magic Def.

So i have this doubt, lets say i have 90+ magic def and suddenly this wizard/HW uses SG on me, it would be very hard to freeze me due to my high magic def right? so what if this wizard/HW uses a HW card and uses SG on me again; will the effect, that is on the description of the card, increase the SG chances to freeze me (since it will ignore 50% of my magic def) or the 50% applies only to the damage i will recieve as if i had 45+ magic def?

i know it may sound like a dumb question or a little confusing, but i just want to clear that doubt, so can anyone tell me?

If you have 95 mdef, you won't freeze, even if they're wearing HW cards.

the freeze effect will not changed (high enough mdef wont freeze you). The only thing that changed with Hw card is the damage u will receive

and someone else also said that SG has a 100% freeze chance as long as ur hit the 3rd time.

after 90 or so mdef your freeze will last less than 3 seconds.

Storm gust is different from other freeze effects in that its not based on chance on whether you freeze or not.  It's  based on damaging hits(after 3 hits you freeze).  However, you only count damaging hits as if the person is not wearing the high wizard card since high wizard card only effects damage.

You dont freeze after 3 SG hits with 95+mdef wether or not the SG caster uses a HW card

From what I've heard, to not freeze from a storm of gust you need this value to be zero or negative (97 - MDEF - LUK/3).

So with 95 magic defense you need at least 6 luck.

man, i think i freeze even with 96 mdef every once in a while. i think its safe to say its 100 mdef to never freeze but ya.
