And again, how does that make SN overpowered?
I have over a bil's worth of gears on my SN. I have overupped novice armor, breastplates, manteaus, on top of the overupped sleips/kahos, all 5 SQIs I swap between, excluding the 2 bris and a meg. If I'm smacking someone with a Mjolnir with LSoD, I should definitely win if they can't put on a fucking wind armor. But that's just my opinion of the matter. On top of that, SNs do have a lot of problems. They have the lowest HP mod in the game, and they have low SP (like 200-400) so GJ spam is a must. We carry bgems for safety wall as well, not to mention the windchime stones for LSoD. Did I mention the awakes needed to break 190 ASPD and all the green pots to get rid of certain status? Mammos cost me 2k ea, and I have to constantly soul link myself, and I have to constantly spam:

Safety wall + ED (Or MDEF, or Marc/ESL) > Supernovice. I can't do anything to someone under a safety wall except spam weak int moves like cold bolt or try to status with frost driver/stone curse. A flying sidekick = no more soul link, as with dispel, so I can't really see Super Novices running MDef/Marc card builds all that much and instead are forced to GTB. The fact of the matter is that there have been some changes to the metagame, as Lander's idea, people have shat bricks and people don't know what to do yet. Hardly ever do I see taekwons using flying side kick, but I will hopefully see people use it more often.
