is our horrible lag due to back logs?

i'm just wondering if the horrible lag were getting is due to all the backed logs that are being worked on?
or is something else?

Item logs (not backlogs ::)) should not affect gameplay anymore. Could you maybe try to explain how and when you experience lag? Have you read the following thread to reduce lag that is client-sided? http://www.anthemro.com/forums/index.php/topic,76999.0.html
