Question - would a garm fire armor be better than a regular fire armor in Thors? I tried both out and to be honest, didn't notice a difference.. But I wonder if there is?
+6 glit pasana is like 11 true defense...quite cheap and it's still easy to overup to +6
+4 fire garm is like 17 true defense...only 6 def difference but it's expensive
u wont see much different on normal attack...probably effective for that firebreath thingy
so yeah...just like on/off pcb but sliiightly better
Well the difference in Thor will pretty much only be for Fire breath, which is already reduced a lot by Jakk+Fire armor.
Most attacks you'll be facing are ranged fire magic, making DEF a lot less useful. So carding Garm for thors isn't really that smart =/
As for OP's post, well it kinda depends on how you want to level.
There are mainly two different ways, you either DPS or you spam DS. The main advantage of a DPS build is the CRIT boost, however if you're killing kasas with a CRIT build you're an idiot. Kasas have a shitty DEF, you're better of putting more points to DEX to boost your damage than wasting them on LUK. DS spammage is generally the most effective way to go in thors 1. Max out DEX, make sure you have 190 ASPD along with craptons of GJ, then just spam DS on them as fast as you humanly can. Kasas drop pretty damn fast. I can't rememebr exact numbers but I'm guessing you can do anywhere between 6-8k per DS against a kasa.
If you're going with a DS build I suggest you dumb your crit rings for celebs/sting gloves and change that Gryph into a DI for more survivability.
The DPS builds usually focus more on CRIT, which as I said, is pretty dumb against kasas with their low DEF. Crits however works great against salamanders which give slightly better EXP than kasas but are also a bit harder to kill. The best way would be to critlock them which works with good CRIT and high ASPD. For this sort of leveling your gears are fine.
