Hello there. I'm new here with a few questions.

My friend and I are starting to believe that we're the only souls in the MMO universe that believe if you're playing MMORPGs you should be playing with other people (partying). We have yet to play an MMO that has people that will party with other people (we just came from iRO actually and that game has ZERO party aspect unless you're doing WoE). So my question is: Do you guys have the same mindframe as we do or are we truly the only ones with this belief?

Well, with all the MVP cards and SQIs, it's kind of a soloing atmosphere. But you'll probably find some people to party with every now and then.

I'm not sure if any of you have played FFXI before but THAT is what we're looking for in terms of partying. I understand that we will never find another MMO with partying like FFXI has but it's completely different when NOBODY parties in any other MMORPG (which is the defining quality of MMORPG vs RPG). (if you're wondering why we're not playing it anymore it's because we can't afford it anymore: if we could afford it we would be back there in a split second) So, I don't want to sound critical but here's my thoughts: If you want to solo a game get the hell off MMOs and go play a console!

Again, sorry to be so blunt but this is getting just ridiculous.

Don't think you'll be all too gloriously happy here. Best off making friends, join a social guild and motivate folks. There's plenty of people on here sharing your view so I suggest you try filtering those out.

If this is true, why do they not respond? And how do I filter those people out if I can't find them to start with? I'm not going to invest like 100+ hours into a game again only to find that we're the only ones who enjoy having "adventuring parties" thus resluting in us game hopping again.

Again sorry to sound critical but we tried ALOT of other ones too (FlyFF, PWI, ROSE Online, Rappelz, WoKF, KO, MS, RoM, Atlantica, Lunia and ALOT more) and every single one of those we posted on their forums too, and every single one of them said what you said. We found ONE person on FlyFF (we still have it installed as a backup since it was the only one we've found someone on)

So, I'm reluctant to believe you until I get replies stating otherwise. (people stating they have the same mindframe as us and will back it up with action by partying with us (NOT only partying with us when we get to higher levels but instead doing it straight from the start))

We have a forums just for the sake of partying a little further down, if you make a nice post there, I am sure you can find likeminded people to join you on your adventures; Also, joining a community guild instead of a WoE guild is definitely a good start as well.

From my own experience, if you are nice and treat people with respect, you will make many friends over the course of a few weeks, who more often than not turn out to have a character in your level range and agree to go out and party with you.
