I doubt it, but even so: it's a pretty crappy armor.  We have Phen and Bloody Butterfly cards that go in accessories that does the function of the armor.

Ya, the penalty for it is significantly reduced though, and it's the best non-interrupt cast item in the game.

Anyone know for sure?

DPS vs DPS duels, sure it helps, but you can just backslide and then Soulbreak (provided you do it fast enough and you have a good semi-fast cast, maybe swap accessories to a berz right as you backslide.)

Oh well, if you say it's awesome then I guess you saw a use to it that I didn't.

It gives an accessory slot free. A lot can be done there. Apart from that , it would be crappy if it was not slotted. But the slot just makes it good to have. It would certainly replace the cookie cutter formals and other generic armours.

keep 2x berz (perhaps brys)+DI/DL+orleans: thats still 65% reduction w/ no dex and uninterruptable cast

unless they change it up to like...a +50% cast time? lol

Why? It's not broken in the least. The classes that benefit from un-interruptable cast aren't broken o_O

Don't get me wrong, I didn't say it was be broken lol. (I'd be in favor of this happening anyways, just so I don't need to stack dex)Just sayin that Anthem changes things dealing with cast time with IC/dex and I wouldn't be surprised if they changed this one

The only way you can interrupt a combo is by 1) absorbing spirits, 2) backsliding out of the combo (not 100% sure since no sin has even tried that), and that's about it.  Asura Strike at the end of the combo is un-interuptable, unless the Champ spams the button - that cancels the skill.

If you mean it's good for casting HSS since you don't really stack dex in a good combo build, then MAYBE then, but most of the time, if I'm in a PURE combo build where I know I can get interrupted, I'll just use Summon Spheres which can't be interrupted.
