Satan Morroc Skin

I bought a skin from someone.

I have never completed the Satan Morroc Quest yet.
Do you need to kill him in order for the skin to work so you can get one of those three accessories?

Or can I just go into the map with someone and then go out and talk to Balrog again to get the item?

You still need to kill Satan Morroc for the skin to work I believe.
Although you dont have to kill him directly, just be present on the map when he dies. To be on the safer side, whack him a couple of times~
