The Best Armor (read before posting, please)
« on: July 20, 2009, 07:56:29 pm »
So, I have an Orc Lord card, and I want to put it in some armor.
My only problem is that I need to know the best armor that
ALL
classes can wear that is also slotted.
I have a Mink Coat. Is that acceptable?
Or is there something better out there?

depend on your class mainly, but glit jackets are one of the best armors around
Spoiler for ign:
Kurip - HP (99/70)
Akyu - prof (99/6*)
Sanri - HP (99/70)
mesousa - baby sage (99/50)
ruyuri - gypsy (in progress)
..

How much do those run for when they don't have a card in them?

1-2m only.

Anything over it is overpriced.

You are what I imagined in my dreams. I just never thought it was possible.

the BEST armor to put an OL card in would be an elemental armor[1]>preferably water, but you wouldn't wear it 24/7 and need a switch against wind atks.

I personally believe Wind Armor is better. OL is only really good against a Champ. If they use Suiken then Wind will still reduce damage. Then the Champ will use a Wind weapon like Kaiser Knuckle and it will still reduce damage and not many Champs out there bother with Earth fist.

Indeed i have OL wind and it's very good and i wear it like 24/7

Glittering Jacket Is nice but extremely heavy

if you wear it on a no str char better use a formal suit

Its one step below Glittering as a non elemental armor (correct me if I'm wrong).

Elemental armors are nice depending on where/how you would use it most

Guardian Shadow
Guardian Kaiser
Guardian Khan
Guardian Dragon
Guardian Gold
Guardian Silver
Guardian Dark
Paladin
High Wizard
Assasin Cross
High Priest
Blacksmith
Biochemist
Champion

yeah its all a matter of opinion, I just like getting the max reductions as possible; if they switch to wind, well, its quite easy to figure out and switch. (unless lazy but still high HP tankable)

IF you dont want an elemental armour you could always use a Formal suit , light - usable by all classes including novices and always resellable.

Thank you all for your opinions. I think I may choose this item. How much do they run for slotted?

600k-800k for +0
Probably 3.5M for a +7

You may want to put it in a +7 since that would ensure its resold at a fair price.
Although if you are a PVPEr/War of Emp enthusiast I'd say go for an OL Wind armour.

OL Formal is really meant for all time Person Vs Monster purposes
