pets: how to make them attack?

one guy told me that we can make our et with his intimacy with us loyal, but how? we can't just feed righ?

nope pets cant attack ,only homus(only alchly can use) and mercerary can attack

that guy is high...
the most a pet can do in the future is give u stats...nothing has released info about atking pets
plus that wud jus be retarded as then that takes out half the reason to become an alchemist

Well I think before they changed the pets to just give stats some of them used skills and could attack.

If I recall correctly I think I remember something about like Porings would pick up drops and I think Bongun could attack.

But I think all the EXP gained from an attacking pet would be lost.

But for now pets are just here for show. Sorry.  :-\

I played on a server that enabled pets to attack. I had a Zealotus and she'd tank slow MvPs for me. The only way you can trigger a pet to attack is if you melee the MvP for a little bit.

I remember this one time, there was an even and Night Under Gloom was summoned. This Clown or something had a poring that started tanking Gloomy.

Fun times...

I doubt that just because pets attacked, we'd all start abandoning the Alchemist. I came from a server that allowed pet attacks and skills: there was no shortage of Alchemists there (I was one myself). Bomb and Acid Terror anyone?

However, the Poring argument has merit, since no one has autoloot here. (to protect Whitesmiths) People will still have alchemists, however. They carry a whole lot more stuff and with bomb, can do a great damage and the homunculus can evolve, whereas, pets only have 1 look. I think you are underestimating the Alchemist here. "Half a reason" is exaggerating, it's more like "1/3 at MOST"
