Cooking? :o

Hi :-) i was wondering if you can make those cool looking chocolate cakes/chocolate strawberries/etc. on this server; i really want to make these if possible. How do i make those dessert foods? I'm guessing a chef hat isn't needed? 


edit: Actually i would like to know if you have to do the quest to get the cookbooks? If so then i have to get a chef hat, right? @_@

Which cookbooks are you talking about? You can only acquire lvl1 to 5 books to the chef NPC inside prontera castle AFTER you complete his quest (the NPC only lets you borrow one of his books and would ask for it when you want to borrow another book). Lvl6-10 books can only be acquired from monster drops/people that are vending them.

It's best for you to have the chef hat before starting the quest cuz you need it equipped whenever you talk to the chef NPC. You don't need it on when you're actually cooking foods though.
