How would there be a refund in my case if Avix/Balam's was already done in their said manner. And lord knows how suggestions go over in the Suggestion section of the forums.

I don't know, maybe because it does seem like there was an over sight of sorts? And it's not like they can't retroactively go back and change anything.

You speak as though all this stuff is set in stone.

It's kind of like...

"Oh hey, here's what the GMs can do instead"

"Hm, this seems like a better way, we should go back and fix any that were done improperly from X date onward so long as we have record of it, or the players can provide the proof for us via screenshots."

More like... there already haven't been any changes/updates in a while. Not to mention things like this thread as well as the other recent thread about Kaho/PCB Customization's taking a super long time (Don't get me wrong I expected it to take a good monthish) popping up. Why would I suggest stuff that just puts more on the GM's plates at this point when it appears they can't even keep up with what they were already doing?

With the way Tesla's doing donations though, it seems like he's pretty busy with everything else, and is only doing donations when he can (the way I was trying to when I was uber busy IRL), so I don't think it'd hurt to ask him.
