Niff Question...
« on: May 15, 2009, 02:13:39 am »
I'm not sure if its the Heirozoist skill Snap or the Quve skill mental breaker that takes away SP. But i was wondering whether ED or Bathory armor would prevent this?? or do i just have to live with carrying around abit of GJ?

Doesnt anyone use gtb in niff?
It does wat a disguise armor does but makes sure u cant get hit at all.
Only side effect is using more sp, but at least u dont lose it all to monster :P

Most people use a khalitzburg or a tirfing there dude.Sure GTB prevents the SP loss and leads to more HP loss on the whole  :police:

Disguise/Soundless armor usually takes care of it and the Decrease Agi but it's not 100% effective, but good enough.
If you'd rather switch with GTB, make sure that you don't do any skills while it is equipped because the skill's SP consumption is doubled, also make sure that you switch back to Tirfing (my recommended card) Guard/Buckler when you're killing your mob.

Edit: I think you're better off carrying a bit of GJ (and using the Disguise Armor). You don't need much for an hour run anyways. o.o

Not to mention if you use gtb, you're still leaving yourself open to the nasty dullahan shadow attack, which if ur wearing devi will hurt pretty badly :P
You would need a shadow or evil druid armor then.

I haven't been to niff in a long time but disguise + tirfing rocks.
Not to mention its nice to have an osiris on the side for quick warps back so you don't have to bug priests and you can use agi up when you get slowed (if ur a bs)

Exactly...and incidentally if youre a WS/BS you dont need to burn so many GJ's..just use it to recover your SP if its really really low O_o
