Ads? Pennies? Someone explain T_T
« on: April 17, 2009, 10:34:59 pm »
I'm taken a look around and I can't find a topic already on these. Perhaps there are some old topics but I'm trying to avoid having to dig dig dig through this forum as a whole.
Anyways... what are ads and pennies in the game?  ???

How do you get them?

What are both used for?

Once their uses are explained, where do you go to use them in the game?

I've been playing a little while now and I have an idea of whats goin on... but I havn't looked into these until now. I seen some people mention on a different topic in the forum that ads could be used to remove cards from weapons? So you get to keep both the card and the weapon when this is done? I also seen that it only cost 7 ads. The reason for my curiosity is because I have a dagger that was given to me by a quitting player on my Sin. It has a doppelganger card but it has a crappy card in the other slot... so I would like to be able to take the card out and put it into a better dagger to make a better card combo naturally. ;D

Thanks for looking at my questions and listening to my small rant! I appreciate the time of anyone who brings me clarification on what those two things are and everything about them.  ;)

Ads Credits is the currency used to pay for items in the shop. Each dollar in US you donate is equated to $1.00
Pennies was a old system used to transfer ads to one another without using the "transfer". Unfortunately, the system went broken in the upgrade to the next episode, so pennies cannot be withdrawn back into ads. Each penny is worth 1cent

Fortunately, we do accept Support Ticket requests to change the Pennies into ad credits. So if you do get pennies, just submit a ticket and let us handle the rest.

Alright, cool thank you very much. However, could you possibly go a little more in depth about my question of what i can do with these ads. Specifically about the part where I can get my doppelganger card out of this crappy dagger :D =3

Ah, in that case, if you want to remove the Doppelganger card you must initiate a spend Credit Request, and after detailing the service you require, the GMs will unslot your Doppelganger from the dagger, (with the proper fees of course)

Ah I see I see. So I must do this on the site then. Thanks a bunch!
