Hey guys, I'm thinking about starting here. Just one question though, does like everyone have crazy equips and cards here due to the donation system? Like everyone has GTB shields or Maya Shields or Toad Shields?

Nope ^^ not everyone here is very rich.The hierachy of the economy here is balanced,although ads are getting very expensive which is to say people find it hard to buy ads nowadays.I dont have a GTB or Maya

Probably cause they spend more game time in RO then the donators.So they prob know the game inside out better then them

It's not broken, we've just limited the amount of users that can access it to prevent abuse and to help ease the bandwidth. Please for now use AceJay's method:

i never donate and everyone dont have cool stuff. i dont gtb or maya.

Just play to have fun ^^
Once you get good enough to survive in PvP you'll most likely have enough zenny to buy good equipment. (I've lasted about 9 months with just non-upgraded NPC-bought gear on my rogue)

Also, keep in mind that none of the donation items are bound to players; all of them are sell and tradable. Which basically means that even without donating, you'll get donation items for decent prices quite fast. Look at threads such as http://www.anthemro.com/forums/index.php/topic,3580.0.html if you don't quite know what places to go; if you can survive, Stings can be very much worth it, as the card sells for lots, but a lot of monsters have drops that are used in creating the undonatable SQIs, so they sell to players for quite a bit (examples would be red blood / crystal blues for 5k each, evil horns for 10k each, and so on)
