major issues here, please look inside

this is wierd... i've been lagging with my OUTBOUND signal, like the server's not responding, but other people can still move and do stuff like that. it's annoying cause i've tried everything to fix it and it refuses to be fixes @_@ is it a server problem or is my computer messing up? anyone got any suddgestions?


P.S. my ventrillo also lags and the ping goes up to like 29k when i try to talk.. and it just randomly started about 2 or so days ago.. HELP!!!!

Seems to fix it's self after a period of time.

Just leave it be for a while.

really? how long were your delays? Mine are up to like 5-7 secs and sometimes i get a Time Gap disconnect, and a D/C sometimes too :/

Same here, sometimes I have a short lag (like 3-7 seconds) and sometimes i get d/c. Its really annoying in niff. My streaming music stops also and if I get d/c, i can't log back on for like 5 mins.

I guess...Thats the only thing you CAN do except Ctrl+Alt+Delete and end task. I don't get it too often but it is really annoying in niff.

wait... is everything laggy for you? for me, it's just ME lagging. i cant heal, but it still shows the mosters hitting me and others coiming and KSing me and it's like i'm the only one laggin

Are you doing any file sharing while you play?  Remember that most Internet connections have faster download than upload speed.  If you are downloading some torrent, your upload may be taking all of your bandwidth and your RO gameplay is suffering.

Ya, thats exactly what mine does. And my internets not the problem, i have symmetric 20mbps speed (fiber rules).

I don't use Vent but our problem is the same. REALLY annoying cause all the monsters keep coming after you but you can't attack back or heal or anything...

Was yours as constant as mine at one point? just want to know if it'll go away in time :/
