Unable to register Anima username...

Greetings!
When I redownloaded AnthemRO after having been absent from Anima for quite awhile, I had been under the assumption I would have to begin all over again. However, when I started up the application my old username was ready and waiting for me! I entered in the old password and lo and behold - it worked! All of my old characters were waiting for me with the items and experience they had when I left them.

However, when I went in to sign on the forums....it told me the old username didn't exist! So I had to create this account. However, the problem is I realized I was earning Ad Credit for an account/username I was never going to use!

Is there a way to change this?
I tried reregistering on the Home Page but it tells me the username already exists. I tried registering here and it tells me it doesn't. XD
I do NOT want to commit AdFraud, though I've stopped collecting from the voting sites just in case.

Is there anyway to remedy this?

What happened during the Anima-Anthem change was: All forum accounts were wiped (and the ads along with it), but all in-game accounts were saved. So, sadly, anything that was on your old forum account cannot be recovered. Good luck

Thank you for the quick response! I doubt I had that much Ad Credit saved up on the old forum account, so I'm not upset about it.

I was just wondering if I'll ever be able to earn Ad Credit for my account ever again... :p

You can earn ad credit on the forum account you are currently using.

But won't the Ad Credit I earn under the forum username go towards the registered username Lariel and not my old one?

Or am I able to earn Ad Credit under Lariel and then specify a DIFFERENT account to send the item to?

since all the forum acc's were wiped..there is only one registered Lariel right now and that would be you. (I think)
and yes, you earn ad credit, if u wish to use it in any way u'd have to type the username(one u use ingame) to send the item/pennies

so you could type anyones username and it would go to that typed acc

I'm guessing you had a forum account and in-game account whose names matched, and that's what's causing your confusion. Despite possible identical names, forum accounts and in-game accounts are 100% different from each other. Kinda like how you can meet two different people with the same name. Just because they're both named John, for example, doesn't mean they're the same person.

Whatever ads you accrue on the forum account can be used to purchase items or services for any in-game account, and you would specify exactly which in-game account you wanted the item or service for at the time of purchase.

For example, I currently have six different in-game accounts and one forum account. If I wanted to buy an MVP card from the item shop, I would use the credits on my forum account, and then tell the item shop which of my six accounts' kafra storage I wanted the card put in.

As long as you know your username and password for your in-game accounts, you have complete control over where things go when spending ad credits.

It made perfect sense. Because I'd made my forum and game account under the same name, I had until recently assumed your forum account name had to match your game account name. XD Glad to know I was wrong!
