unknown item

i bought an xmas box and i got sumthing that looks like an apple but labeled as an unknown item. i can equip it to upper head, but nothing shows in appears on my head outside equip window. is there nething useful about this item or did i get screwed over ToT
on a side note, i get +2def/mdef from it.

My sakray is fully patched and i still cant see the santa poring cap. aRO is patched sakray is patched, i tried alternative sakray and the valhalla patcher. nothing =(

Ya know what is strange about that...

My roommate and I play on the same computer. To get my aRO to work, I have to depend on him patching the clients for me. BUT... when he logs into aRO under his windows login the santa poring cap says "unidentified". While if I log in on my windows login to aRO i can see the sprite and description just fine.
