Whats the point of + weapons?

I always see people talking about weapons with +6 or w.e on them, and the attack is the same, no different stats unless a card is on it... so, I was wondering if someone could tell me what + on the weapons do.

It increases the ATK slightly more. +10 is considered the best because it adds in a extra +20 ATK.

different lvl weopon also increases a greater amount of dmg per upgrade

YEah Forgot about that. The +20 ATK only applies to level 1 weapons.

So if you get a +10 Level 4 Weapon, as much damage as if you card an Incantation Samurai into it.
