So far all the GM even Tames are 100%

Professor Tame Skill has the same chance as other regular tames i'm guessing.

i don't think you can use the prof skill to tame a baby garm... i'm pretty sure the GMs made it exclusive to the tame items. Just like you can't use the prof tame to get a hylozoist...
