Mage help

I am a mage and i am wondering what skill points to put in and i am going to be a wizard as second job.

It depends where you are going to level, and even if you put them wrong, you can always reset them.

Though I suggest Napalm beat till you get Soul Strike, and max it then. It's best to use it in Payon. In my opinion..

I would say get Napalm beat level 4 to get Soul Strike,then max Soul Strike and start leveling in prison :3

Or get Firebolt maxed and try Geographers,but try to have a decent cast time so incase you find 2 Geos together you can kill one fast enough be for they heal each other =/

Start lvling on poring till you get at least 1 FB then go to payon till you have FB maxed then go geographers till job lvl 50(in my opinion I didn't and I regret it) then once you become a wizard reset your skills to SS lvl 10 then start maxing SG and use em both at prison till your not getting decent exp and then depending on your equips you go lvl somewhere else

That's what I said, but starting off in Prison alone is not a good idea if he's new and gearless. Only with some priests to help him or starting off in Payon and when he's Wiz, to Prison. That's only my opinion. ^^'

That's what I said, but starting off in Prison alone is not a good idea if he's new and gearless. Only with some priests to help him or starting off in Payon and when he's Wiz, to Prison. That's only my opinion. ^^'

Not when you were a mage. Do you even remember how much hp mages have? NOT even wizards or High Wizards.

Well yea but you learn from your mistakes,sure you die often because of low Hp but you just have to learn how not to get to close and run right after you cast your skill and stuff :3

Yes you can change at job level 40,but for some classes,(mage,acolyte) its important to get to job level 50 because of the extra 10 skill points you get,meaning you can have more options for skills later on,
trust me i made a stupid mistake and changed my mage at job 42 because i was lazy to level it...now i have to spare some skill points so i can get other skills ;~; Stupid level 6 Firebolt ;~;

So dont be lazy like me and level!!!! :3
