They removed it b/c it was cause some type of client issue for some members.

It always showed exp. If u were base 99, you would see the exp you would have gained(or if u were like guild tax'd) but the % number it showed you gaining was 00. Even if it was helpful, the client issues preventing some people from playing were enough to force them to remove it.

This effect was in a client made by Zapbomb, I believe it was part of the new style.
It's similar to eAthena's /showexp
However, I do not know if, or why it was removed.
Possibly cause it required more bandwidth to use?

When zapbomb joined our team, Zapbombs client was made the official client, meaning it would download through the patcher. It has since brought many positive changes to our server. No more bots, in built dyes and a ton of other convenient things.

The EXP addon he had made caused some people to have their RO crash on them, so it was removed until all bugs can be ironed out. It will be back once it has been deemed stable
