Types of Homunculus

Is it completely random which type of a specific Homunculus I'll get out of an Embryo, or is it random whether I'll get the goopy Vanilmirth vs. the one that hops, or whether I'll get the alistr that looks like a sheep or the one that looks like... some weird  monster thing?

ok, this thing is all theory, i belived it at 1st when i maxed vit and lif came out at 1st.
stopped beliving on this when maxed int and got vanil at 5th try (was trying dex build at the 1st 3). but then worth trying

Hm dont think its wrong. I tryd it once 99 Points / aggi (nothing else) and got often the birds than 99 Points int and got my magic Pets  mostly ..... think the % was readet out of the Rocode from another server.U dont have to Look for 1 Special pets the Stateincres give u only an better chanze to get 1 of the 2 pets wich support the mainstate Agi for example (the 2 birds).

Some find the stats things work, Worked for me, I got my Amistr and so did my friend with the same stats first time round.

Others have less luck but i fail to see why you would spend 30m and not get a vanil. I always get those fuckers u.u

For stat purposes >_> you can waste 30m to get the perfect homunculus. The look that you want and the stats a Vanil can get 1000+ MATK if you get the right one.

the time u nead from getting ur Vanis ( with this % chanzes) to have a new Lev 99 with ur 1000 Matk should belong to earn the next 140k for an new embryo ..... noone asked here for the perfeckt or best pet u can have ..... the growing up is randomly ......

I was answering his question to why someone would waste at least 30m for a perfect homunculus which is to get a good stat. Yes, it's random which is why you waste 30m and use a Homunculus Calculator to calculate to see whether it's a good Vanil or not you can do this by leveling it to level 20 which is like 30 minutes to an hour and then see it's progress and if you dislike it you delete and try again. Basically, It's not random since you have Homunculus Calculators to do the stats for us.

Back on topic...

If you check the IRO wiki and search for the Homunculus guide you will see that it is controversial as to whether Stats affect the chances to get a certain type of Homunculus...

indeed, i've been controlling the matk evolution of my vanil, at lv 20 was supposed to have +1000 matk. however since the growing evolution is completly random the matk kept going down on the predictions. currently lv 73 with 415 matk, wich at lv 20 the calculator told i was going to have around 600 matk at that lv. i've noticed too that vanil can be 2~3 lvs gaining like 1~2 matk and then get boosted for some 15 on the next lv wich the calculator doesnt predict
