+5 Def [PCB] worth the hard earned 40m?

I was just wondering if PCB is actually worth getting for 40m? Does it really make alot of difference? Will it determine life and death?

Or is it just a fashion item? or "that item" to get when you have nothing else you're saving for?

some people will say its better than no Def on lower head other will say their pretty personally i think their pretty thats only reason i bought one lol there are other cool lower head gears that help protect you from mute like gangster mask right? if u want something useful for cheap

+5 def is a lot especially when combined with garm and other +8/9/10 armor/shield/headgear/footgear

For me, I bought it

- 20mil for the cuteness.
- 20mil for 5 Def.
- And yeah, because I need a lower headgear :x

well the main question im asking is would you pay a whopping 40m for 5 extra def?

In that case it's not worth it I'd be cheaper to buy over upgraded armor for more def. =p
People only buy it for the looks, cause they have zeny to burn, or it's better than nothing.

i used to think that pcb is not worth it at all and so is garm and so is +8/9/10
but after i got pcb and garm from a nice deal~which i supposed to resell it
i tried it 1st and guess what..it is really worth the 40m.15 extra def is like +15% reduction from gear
just buy pcb if u have extra zenny tho
if only im rich enough to custom it to cigg bell but i need to aim for +9/10 gear 1st :/

Yeah but that's with a PCB and Garm. You don't get both that and a +8 or higher garm for only 40m.

theres so many skills and weapons that can eat through def so it doesnt really matter lol its for looks

Yeah and there some stuff that only hurts worse when you have a lot of def anyways. However it's a bell so it will still look nice after you burn that 40m for it.

And because there arent many lower headgears that give 5 Def, unlike the other armors. Plus the look, so yeah 40m .-.

(Yet there are some people who customize PCB into Leaf/Flower and other weird-looking stuff...)

That's just a marketing ploy to hide how rich they are. Or it blocks something on their character they'd rather see.

this is my opinion
if +7 Garm CM is like 18m, +8 is like 22m, +9 is like 30m and +10 is like 40-45m
people would pay more than 20m just for that +3 extra def

and let say u have +8 armor +8 muffler, +8 shoes, +8 guard, +4 kaho + pcb
to me it is worth it than +9 armor +9 muffler, +9 shoes, +9 guard, +5 kaho
and +9 gear is harder to get compare to pcb
of course PCB only worth it if u aiming for high def for pvm

Red, basically, +5 armor def means +5% more damage reduction, I believe.
