An interesting question.
« on: November 18, 2008, 07:45:54 pm »
To my knowledge, it is legal to ks in Payon Dungeon and Orc Dungeon, but is it legal to non-novices, that obviously have experience in the game to ks? I've been leveling a novice in both Payon and Orc, and a few people ks-ed my monster then greeded its drops. they did so repeatedly. One was an alchemist and the other a blacksmith, so it was obvious they weren't new to the game. When told to stop they said its legal, did it again, then left. in orc, one guy ks from me a lot, and hes at least a mage, and has a few job levels. So, after hearing my testimony, I shall repeat my question. Should ks-ing be allowed in Payon and Orc to non-novices that have some experience?

no. you should't let some people ks while others can't. i could go to a ks zone and ks all i want. it isn't nice to ks but thats how it is. get used to it.

If they repeated follow you to KS, then it is reportable. Obviously, this report must be backed with lots of screenshots

I didn't mean it as some people CAN ks, while others can't, but give the newer player a warning, while others regular punshment. Newer players just don't know its ks-ing and mean, but older players do, and imagine having your First charictor again, and someone ks it and taking its drops so you can't level, or even get money as a low level. It would be even harder just to start the game, and many people may leave.

KSing doesn't even really happen that often in the KS allowed maps, people tend to just stick to themselves. If someone really bugs you, just FW and play in a different part of the map. If they follow you, screenie it and it'll be reportable, as PR Yuyuko said

It's not an issue for people to KS in KS zones until it becomes harassment, where someone follows you around repeatedly KSing you. Generally, the KS maps have plenty of monsters, so, as lil_dragon said, just FW to a different place and continue killing.

ksing zones exist both to make levelling easier for new players (or weak classes; it would take forever to get a mage or acolyte class up to a decent level if you couldn't ks in prison) and to make things easier on the GMs so they don't have to deal with constant ks reports.  If someone is following you around ksing you without your permission, that falls under harassment and is punishable (if you can prove it) - but you can't expect people not to ks in ks zones, as for some people (sadly) that's the only way they can level.
