I need my Thara Frog Buckler/Shield back.

Can't quite remember whether it was Buckler or Shield...

Anyways... I lent it out to a guy who was going to get married to my character, ~*Firestorm*~ Crystal (92/50 Assassin).

Only problem is... he's not been online for a VERY long time and I need my shield back to use for my Knights and Crusader characters.

All I know is the guy's name was Train the Stray (exactly that), In Game, and... I need to know if I can get my item back?

I don't know if I can, but I'd like to... I can't afford to BUY another Thara Frog Card and... I'm kinda lazy to hunt... >_<;;

I think is very hard to get the things back, that why never lend others so expensive gears or ur's account password. Now what you can do is write a support ticket in and wait. i do not know how long it will take,some take months......Take care.

Yes, you can most likely get that item back. To do so you must send in a Support Ticket with as much details about the deal as possible - The item and carding, the character who traded it, who it was traded to, a general date on when you traded it to said person. If you have any screenshots it would help, too.

However, since you did not follow item recovery rules, you may be charged 10 ads to get your item back. You should never loan items to another player. For more information on the Item Recovery Rules, you can go here.

Thank you for the advice and... I'd known the guy a few months, but he's not been online for a while.

It's not that I was scammed out of my item, just that I guess he must be busy. But I understand the terms and once I get the $10 ads, I'll pay and hopefully I can try to get a new card for the shield.

I know, but I violated one of the terms of the item recovery rules, according to PR-Haine.

If I don't pay, I don't want to risk getting a ban or into any further trouble for something that, I believe, is really my fault in the first place.

I'd love to keep my hard-earned ads, since I only vote and don't quite feel secure enough to do the Ad Credits, yet XD, but if I don't pay, then I don't want to think of what else I could end up having to do to clear this up.

I appreciate the advice and stuff. And, PR-Haine? Do I HAVE to pay, or... is there another option? I mean, I'm not trying to ignore that I've got to pay the ads, I'm just trying to see if there are any other alternatives. -doesn't want a ban!- T-T

Errm... try selling your ads.  There are thara cards and thara shields for just over 2m for sale in Prontera vendors now (5m for an overupped shield).  Even if you sold at the very market lowest price of 500k/ad you'd get 4m, and probably you can still get higher than that (start with 750k, then go down if nobody buys).  You can easily get your thara shield back that way.

And those rules are only if you want to recover the item.  You won't get banned or anything, just for loaning your own items out.  The item recovery rules aren't rules you get banned for breaking, all it means is if you lose an item because someone takes it from you and you didn't follow those rules, then you might have to pay extra money to get them back instead of getting them back for free like you would if you follow the rules.  It would be a much better use of your money just to sell the ads and buy it... plus you'd still have a lot left over.

Oh, you don't have to worry about getting banned or anything! D: This is only if you wish to actually get the item recovered with the assistance of a GM. If you choose to just say, "Oh, nevermind, I will just repurchase my shield!" that is perfectly fine, and you can do so. The only legal way to get your original item back is by Support Ticket, or by asking the person to return it (which you have already claimed you can't do as said person doesn't come online).

Ahhh, alright. Thank you very much, notthecheatr. I appreciate that advice. So I shouldn't really get into much more 'trouble' if I don't pay  the ads? So... it's only IF I want the item back that I have to actually pay the ads to do so?

I'm just hoping to make sure I won't get into more trouble with the GMs, PRs, or anybode else who has the authority on AnthemRO. XD

Really, it's not a matter of getting in trouble at all.  These rules are just rules you're recommended to follow for your own safety.  They aren't rules that would get you banned, or anything else... they're just recommendations, so that if you want to keep your items and not get scammed, you should follow them.  Even if you don't follow the rules, you can still sometimes get your items back - it's just that you may have to spend some ad credits to do so, since it will take up more time of the GMs that wouldn't have been wasted if you had followed the rules.  But no worries, there's nothing about trouble or getting banned or anything like that at all.  You're fine!   

Edit:  Of course, there are other rules you must keep if you don't want to get in trouble or get banned.  But these rules aren't like that, so don't worry about it.
