Help with installing RO! Please!

ok, so i stoped played months ago, no cause i didnt like, becase of lag, and now i have new internet company, i wont have lag, ( i hope so), but theres too much things i need to do, tooo much updates, and i dont know how to start,m so i downloaded the full version and run sakray, but i got d3d problem, so i downloaded n run directx, but it still saying that, do i need to have something or erase something?

it dosnt fix that :/ i tried all the anthem things and dyefire and no. it still saying d3d error, and i have directx 9

Did you check your video card drivers? Many people forget to install drivers for their video card, since Windows XP and Vista supports high resolutions even when not having an updated driver, so it seems as if everything's properly installed.

Are you able to play any other games that require DirectX?

no, not yet, and i just put a new video card and i cant run ro, how do i install the drivers?

Oh, and when in setup i try to put resolucion, like 640*800, it dosnt have any options, like if it have no recolution, wut can i do?
