need help with Donation

a friend of mine sent a check to get AD money and it was cleared and their AD's were not given to them. It has become annoying because they dont want to level without their gears first. Someone help with this. Talis help, its ur fault supposedly?

If it was a check, I know that when I use checks it may be cleared out but it will still take a while (through the mail) for the other person to get them money too.

But then again, its been a while since I used checks over the net. xD
