Question about patching + getting RO to work.

I just reinstalled RO and I'm in the process of patching Sakray. Is there a guide somewhere in the forums listing out numerically the order in which I have to perform patches to get a result that won't crash on me? So far I see that I need to run Quickpatch 20080913.exe from the Announcements thread, but I'm not sure about how recent that information is. Much appreciated.

Your patches between your Sakray and your AnthemRO client itself won't conflict.  Theoretically, you should only need to patch both.

If you can fully patch AnthemRO and Sakray, then you should be good to go.  If not, post back.

I seem to be erroring when patching Sakray as I get:

Failed to write file Sakup.exe.
Failed to unpack 2008-03-05PatchUpSak.rgz file.

This happens with both Sakray.exe and Alternative Sakray patch.

I haven't tried to patch the Client yet.

Download and extract into your RO folder.  This has the sakray files on a different server.

Also, if you're on Vista, check to make sure you have UAC off.

I'm not sure if I had UAC off, but it downloaded files up to the same date again and then errored out with the same message.

Place it in your RO folder, and run the Sak Up again.  If it doesn't work, we'll try manual patching.
