Argh. This really is a tough nut to crack. I'm not sure what to do right now; I'll try some other things to reproduce the error, hopefully you get it to work in the meanwhile.

Also, if it doesn't work any more, to play on the original server, rename the second adata.grf '2adata', and rename the 1adata.grf 'adata'.

This is why I didn't want you to delete it.

Delete the two files I marked in red (sclientinfo and DATA):


and rename your "1data" back to "data".

This will probably not change anything, but it will at least clean your folder a bit.

I spent 8? hours of my free time on Sunday (I was up til 1AM? I think), the last few of those being with a GM, to finally figure out why a lot of this is happening (I couldn't connect to the test server either).  During the weekdays I can't play on the server, because of the college network settings.  I'm only trying to help you guys out, and it's equally frustrating to not just be over there.

I'm trying the best I can.

I'm sorry it doesn't work instantly for you, but as AxeGunner already said, it's the game itself which is so complicated. The Sakray patcher's even worse. :S

But well, back to our problem: keep in mind the Golden Rule: Never lose your patience, even if it takes hours to get it back to work!
And please, always tell us what you did, for example did you do this:
