cause u need a LOT of IP's to get it to +10. im not sure about 400m. but ive seen +9 hit 200m

Attempts needed: 1/0.0027 = 370.

... wait, I think there's something wrong with my maths, it should cost way more >.<

Personally, I'd wait; there's a new episode coming up, and the GMs consider implementing the "Memory of Thanatos" card with a "maybe". Slotted ice picks may come out, too.

Yeah the math is a bit wrong as is the success chances.
 
Success chance would look like this from +1 - +10 being that an IP is a lvl 4 weapon.
(100%, 100%, 100%, 100%, 60%, 40%, 40%, 20%, 20%, 10%)
Attempts needed would be :1/0.000384

So the average amount of IPs that you would need to go through to get one to +10 would be 2604.1667. So it should should be worth quite a bit.

Actually I did assume that anyone professionally upgrading an IP would do that with a 99/70 Whitesmith, which gives you a 10% higher chance.
So with that, it'd be

0.7 * 0.5² * 0.3² * 0.2 = 0.315%

and

1/0.00315 = 318 attempts

Still a lot; with 15m per ice pick, it should be worth more :P
