The best way to get a homun loyal is through feeding it at the right times.

DO NOT wait till they get to the red zone. You're only getting .5 of a point when you feed them then.

The best times to feed them is when their Hunger reaches 11. This way you can feed them twice and get the full 2 points instead of just 1.5.

Feeding them past 30 is not a good idea. You will lose .5 each time you feed them past 30.

Oops, I forgot about that. I thought that the red zone started at 10, but you're right Will. xD

All I know is its best to feed it from 11, then feed it again at 21 then stop once you hit 31. You'll get 2 full points then.

When you feed them 25-74, you get 0.75 point of intimacy, just to clarify... its perfectly acceptable to feed your homu at 74(making it 84) then afk'ing for about an hour. It lvls and also gets a substantial amount of intimacy with little effort from the owner.

As a side note; I'm almost 100% sure (ALMOST) That while it's fighting, it's Hunger Rate decays twice as fast.

I thought it was If its in a dungeon, or a field - its hunger drops faster?

If so, that would be kinda neat. You could sit in a field of Non-aggro's, and just stuff your Homun.
