arrows on assassins

a sin told me it was possible to use arrows equipped on sins to obtain their status effect. I would like to enquire about the validity of this .
also,
does equipping elemental arrows change the attack property to that of the arrow?
can status arrows be bought at npcs?
what are the chances of successfully inflicting the status?
does this work with area of effect skills like grimtooth?

kinda depends on the arrow, frozen arrows got 10% chance fo freeze the target, sins can equip arrows, it does work with grimtooth should also add atk? if u get atk orientated arrows im not sure if either property or chance works on mele atks tough ~nyo^^

pretty sure sins only get neutral+enchant poison...meleeing anyways

I never thought of using that here...but on other servers your attacks are the same element as always (neutral or poison) but your ranged attacks e.g. grimtooth inflict the status ailment listed on the arrow.

Status arrows cannot be bought.

And im pretty sure Assasins cant equip Arrows or Bows.

Only Thieves,Archer Classes, and Rogue can equip them

u dont really use up the arrows as a sin so u only need one :3

So sins are able to equip arrows but not use them? o.o;

the arrows help change the property of grimtooth or gives it status ailments if a status arrow is equipped. All you need is one arrow

Yeah Grimtooth is a katar only attack and also is only affected by the arrow bug.

I don't think they are that usefull, but that's just me.

Actually it could be. I'm pretty sure you guys know a sin or sinx can try and do LH3 however very slowly with just grimtooth. So with added elemental arrows and status could it be possible to use the elemental property with katars like bloody roar or infiltrator? Or just freeze them to find a way to escape when you run out of fwings and need to walk to a champ to ask for a warp?

they got mdef/int too..which reduces that(especially HP/HW/cecil -_-)
yeh when i was lh3'ing with sinx i was flee build with TF...but i never thought of grimtoothing lolz, seems safer but too slow

Yeah main reason was because I didn't have complete flee gears on my sinx. So I had to hide and grimtooth them to death.
