Ok I tried all my accounts.... I keep getting the fail to connect to server message everytime after the character select screen once I picked a character to use.... Can someone please tell me what am I doing wrong please?.... It's been like this for 2 days @@

Ok this time I got another one and this time I can't even pass to the character select mark.... Can someone explain that please?... I tried updating my sakray but my sakray can't receive some of the files....

Both of you should try running AnthemPatch. It sounds like your client is out of date and trying to connected to the offline test server.

Well, if you're quite desperate, you can try it like me. Had some problems yesterday as well when tried to reinstall everything, but now it works.

At first, make a copy of your whole RO client. Now delete all the AnthemRO related files in the (copied) directory (adata.grf, AnthemExe.exe, etc.), including the folders, data as well.

Then download ftp://anonymous@72.55.188.250/AnthemRO_Mini_Setup_2007-11-16.exe and install it into the "clean" directory.

Download this (?):
http://anthemro.com/users/denia/patches/AnthemRO%20QuickPatch%202008-06-05.rar
And overwrite your adata.grf in your directory.

After that, start the Anthem Patcher and wait, till everything's patched.
After that, you might as well install the New Client: http://www.anthemro.com/forums/index.php/topic,22874.0.html

You can see if you accidentally try to connect to the Test Server by checking the online counter. It was like "1 person online".. not quite possible

At least that worked for me.

What kind of error do you get? "Failed to connect to server"? Or a sprite error?
Can you see how many players are currently connected? If so, how many?

Well, I don't know if the GMs can do anything else than recommending to re-install a mini or full setup... it seems to be a client side problem, not a server-wide problem, since most of the players (including me) can log on fine.
