"Family" leeching

ok i got married on teh game a while back nad we jsut recently adotped a child.
i thought i could leech them all somewhere since i KNOW you can do family leeching.



heres our info:

ME: lvl 84 Assassin Cross

WIFE: lvl 1 High Novice

BABY: lvl 34 Baby Swordsmen


we are all in the same party in the same map.


in this case we were in prison but apparently we cant do even share exp.




anyone know why?

iirc only the baby ignores the 10 level rule. since you're wife is only level 1 and you're like level 84 because she breaks that rule you can't share exp with all 3 of you in the party.

Uhhh you sure about that shane? I leeched my wife before and she's only around 76 with my paladin 94. Our baby was only 20 at the time.

Alrighty, so you can't set the even share option when you 3 are in the same party?

Actually the real problem is...that your wife is still level 1 if she is at 70 that fall back into the rule of marriage since you have to be level 70 to get married in the first place. So what im trying to say is since shes still level 1 ..the whole family leeching wont take effect til she is level 70 or higher.

Actually you can marry before 70. You just can't adopt if one of you are below level 70.

No I'm pretty sure you don't exactly have to. But I DO know you have to be at least level 70 for you to adopt.

You need to be atleast level 45 to share exp with your wife.
Level 45 is the minimum level what makes marriage avaible.
So if you aren't that level, you simply can't share exp.. I checked scripts myself before about this, it's all in it.

Then again, your wife also needs to be 70 (Or w/e the level is to adopt) to party share with your Child. Same reason as above.
(This counts for eAthena, I'm not sure about Aegis)

even if we were both above lvl 45
youw ould still need teh 10 lvl difference to be there in order share exp.

the whole family leeching thing revolves around teh baby.

the baby must be in the party at the same place, at teh same time.

All I remember was that me and my (now Ex-)Hubby from like a year ago were able to share exp =o
I was a 9x Priest, he was a 7x Priest..

And it all worked fine. /fsh

i have a couple friends with the same problem except its the hubby that lvl 5 wifey lvl 84 and baby lvl 22

You can share, but you have to have the baby in the party sharing aswell.
