I think the only way one can get reported with regard to vending is if he/she had false advertisement.

That would be correct, if you vend your prices the only thing that will happen is people might not buy. That's why people ask for price checks =/

They have no basis to do so. If you know the rules and someone tries to report you for something you cannot be reported for tell them to bugger off.

Rofl, you shouldn't worry about such a thing. GM's aren't machines; they are able to think and judge based on reasonable justice whether a case is valid or not.
